As always, last week was filled with numerous thought provoking articles from several dozen bloggers.  There doesn’t ever seem to be a shortage of posts that leave an impression on me any given week.  So without further ado, in no particular order, here are my top 5 favorite posts of the week!

Smart Wealth asks us about our frivolous guilty pleasures.  These are those tiny little expenses that we MUST spend money on.  What are yours?

Your Finances Simplified gives us 5 financial tips learned from the Jersey Shore…say what?  Yes, apparently they do serve an actual purpose.  Cabs heaaaaaa…

Newlyweds on a Budget details their monthly expenses.  I enjoy these types of articles because they give insight to personal finance bloggers and their actual finances!

Steadfast Finances tells us why frugal isn’t always the smart way to go!  Surprisingly enough, this is a very important message, and one I have reiterated myself on numerous occasions.  Stop by and find out why.

The Financial Samurai gives us a humorous, but possibly true, post on how to get rich off the upcoming Facebook IPO, find it on the Yakezie homepage.  Sadly, I am not a candidate for making any money off the IPO…

Great list and I actually read the post by Sam and it was hilarious. Pretty much you have to move to CA and find someone and become a gold digger just too funny.

Very funny post, though sadly I was really hoping there was still a sure fire way to get rich off the IPO!
